The riders yesterday arrived to Wanaka lake, a beautiful scenery and landscape. As predicted yesterday the descent was more effective than the climbs and Panarese lost some time.

Today the Stage is around Wanaka and the final will pass again from latest part of yesterday stage. The stage is long and considering the fatigue accumulated in the last days, we could see a different strategy today of some of the riders. Actually some can manage and control differently as seen in other stages where they were conducted as sprint stages.

Remaining in the right group again is a key today because due to the length of the stage the gaps could be bigger than other stages. No climbs classified but the elevation gained at the end will be more than yesterday so this can give you an idea of how many hidden pitfalls to watch out for today.
