With Stage 6 today we finish the Tour of New Zealand 2023 after an incredible journey in south of this beautiful country.

Today it's time again for an ITT. We can consider it as a climb time trial despite the descent final part.

The riders arrived yesterday to Queenstown after a short transfer where they did, with the bus this time, the same route of Stage 4. The lake in front Queenstown is the perfect scenario for a dramatic fight for the leadership.

The stage start in front of the airport where tomorrow the riders will take the domestic flight to Auckland and form there everyone will come back to his/her country with an international flight.

After the first flat part the climbs starts. We have 950 meters to climb and it will be tough. It is the hardest climb in New Zealand and the riders have to face to energy remained.

The risk to suffer the fatigue of yesterday is high.

The climb is long and managing from the beginning is important to avoid a drop that will be fatal at this point.
