Synder winning come back but Kerpl keeps the Blue Jersey!

The longest stage of this Tour was an authentic triumph for Nelson Synder who came back after the missing stage with penalty.


A very tough start split the main group in small ones. In the first group the best riders of the Tour with Snyder, Panarese, Sousek and Kerpl. The pace was different when Snyder, knowing a comeback was necessary, started to force. He went alone till the end and won the stage. Beyond him Sousek and Kerpl acted as teammates and distanced Panarese. In the final Kerpl went slower knowning also that after this stage the Category A leadership is secured.

Snyder gained 2 minutes and 30 seconds and now he needs a similar time gaining to try to win the Tour.

Panarese is still there and the three-way fight will be decided in the final ITT. Sousek will start last day with the Blue Jersey on his shoulder hoping to resist from opponents attacks.


In the Category A Stagnitta suffered a bad day, with cramps, and lost the leadership. Kerpl is the 1st with Kastner able to gain 5 minutes from Stagntta. Kerpl with 5 minutes can easily win the Category.


In the Category B the ITT can be decisive, Sijmens against Mrklovsky will be an interesting challenge.


Category C with Bonckaert ready to win as Kew in the Category D.
